Parameshwari Marati
Farming / Processing
Brief info
Parmeshwari Marati, is one of those women who take work to heart. She deserves more than just applause for the good work she is doing. Keeping roots to traditions isn’t easy, while the world talks about instant food on the shelf, with so many chemicals added to it, this marati family sticks to age-old traditions in processing the food. Living in a remote village, this family makes different home products, by all the family members together strengthens their livelihood. During COVID conditions they could not market it much. The Innovation Cell, College of Forestry, took the initiative to connect their products with us, The Green Stories.
The Green Stories Team with help of the College of Forestry, Sirsi, is joining with these farmers to partner with them to give them a stage to market their products to reach out to the world at large. While we build a community of farmers with small agricultural lands, we are dreaming to build a community, who believe in a lifestyle of all-natural living, while eating healthy and being sustainable.
